Chalaban
moroccan-hangarian fusion
2007-02-22

The band has been founded by the Moroccan musician, Said Tichiti. The band is devoted to the idea of musical renewal, since there are no clear boundaries in Moroccan music either. Chalaban is the only band in Hungary playing Afro-Arab music, and their music is a well-balanced fusion of Moroccan and western tunes and instruments.

Their unbroken success started 6 years ago, and now goes well beyond the boundaries of Hungary.
